Linden Hills

The longtime neighborhood sweethearts Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream have been slinging scoops to Linden Hills residents since 1984. Once you’ve secured the necessary treats, make sure to hop over to Lake Harriet’s BandShell for their music & movies in the park series! If it’s an off day, don’t worry, you can still wander around the lake and enjoy some scenic views.

Lynnhurst

Kayak and canoe enthusiasts will be delighted to have a few of the 22 miles that comprise Minnehaha Creek in their backyard. For those seeking a more settled water experience, head over to Lake Harriet’s south beach, where you can swim or watch for planes landing at the nearby MSP airport. Finish off any day the right way with timeless grub from The Malt Shop.

Fulton

An antique wonderland awaits you at Fulton’s Hunt and Gather, where hoards of vintage goodies line every nook and cranny. Hoping to score some retro attire? Take a short jaunt over to Queenie and Pearl, a woman-owned clothing store. Complete your trip at 50th and France, a historic district of SW MPLS home to many excellent restaurants.

Lowry Hill

Nestled in this lovely little neighborhood is a Minneapolis icon. You can view Spoonbridge and Cherry alongside other magnificent pieces at the Walker Art Center’s sculpture garden. If you’re looking for grub afterward, we give local butcher + delicatessen Lowry Hill Meats two thumbs up.

East Isles

Foodies rejoice! Bookended to the south by Isles Bun and to the north by Spyhouse Coffee, East Isles is an eater’s paradise no matter the meal. For those with kids, Joanne R. Levin Park offers unique structures for endless playtime. East Isles Farmers Market is a summer destination.

Kenwood

As you mosey down Lake of the Isles Parkway, it is easy to understand why Vice President Walter Mondale was a longtime resident of the area. Kenwood features gorgeously unique houses dropped amongst an abundance of beachfront and green space that’s ready to be explored. If you’re around for brunch, make your way to The Kenwood Restaurant for a can’t miss meal.

Edina
